Last wendsday four students of Paz de Ziganda we went to African dances, a funny subject of Mcnamara school, invited by Gabi, a really nice girl who plays the drums. First of all we learnt playing the drums, but later we started dancing african dances with the rest of the people. Without embarrasment we started dancing and learning different tipe of energetic movements. Then we sat all in a circle and one by one we started dancing alone in the center, it was so motivating when them all clapped and cheered us...
After finishing the class, we danced to them the tipical dance of the basque country (jota) and the clapped too.
To finish the class, we danced a zumba dance for them, and later, we sat all in a circle again and we started speaking about differences between America and Spain (food, parties, people...) we had a really good time and it was so fun. The people of Mcnamara school are so nice people, with alot of rithm, usually better than people in Spain... and we want to have an African dance subject in Paz de Ziganda too, please!🙏💃
