Yesterday my family and I went to the church. The people were very homely. It was a great experience.
Firstly when I went into the church all the people inside of it came to me to hug me and speak with me.
Moreover comparing with Spanish Catholic masses, that in my opinion they are very boring, here, in America, they have a gospel choir and a priest that sings and makes jokes during all the mass, that impacted me a lot.
And finally, another thing that impressed me of American gospel church was that when the mass was ending all the visitors that were inside it stood up and the rest of the people clapped to us, and the pastor introduced us. That was one of my favorite experience of my life.
For all these reasons I really like American masses.
Ayer mi familia y yo fuimos a una iglesia. La gente era muy acogedora y amable, y fue una experiencia muy bonita.
En primer lugar, cuando entré a la iglesia todo el mundo que estaba dentro de ella vino a abrazarme y a hablarme porque querían conocerme y saber cosas sobre mi.
Además comparado con las misas españolas, que en mi opinión son bastante aburridas, aquí, en América, tienen un coro gospel y un cura que no paran de cantar y de hacer bromas durante toda la misa. Eso me llamó mucho la atención.
Por último, otra cosa que me llamó la atención y que en España no se hace, fue que justo antes de que finalizará la misa el cura pedía que todos los visitantes nos pusiéramos en pie para poder aplaudirnos y presentarnos.
Estas son las razones por las que me encantan las misas americanas.
