This
weekend, on Saturday I went to New York with Courtney, her mum and two friends
of her.
I
was excited to be in New York! It is incredible! We arrived at 9.30 a.m. and we
visited a lot of places and I liked all of them. We took a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, also we went shopping, the
stores here are enormous! We walked a lot around there. At night we went to
Times Square, it is very beautiful with a lot of people. We took the bus to
return at 11 p.m.

Hello, I am
Maitane Arrikaberri and I am going to say what I have done at the weekend. I
spent all the weekend with Ainhoa Rodriguez. On Saturday, we went shopping to
Baltimore and we bought presents for our families. Then, we went home for
lunch. In the afternoon we went to a birthday party; there we met Stephanie,
she also took part in the exchange program with another student from our
school. And finally, we went home.
On Sunday morning
at 9:30 we went to the church. After, I went to dance with Amanda and her
sister Emily. When we finished dancing, we went to the house to have lunch and
later we went to Annapolis shopping.

Hello, I'm
Amaia San Martin and I'm going to tell you what I did last Friday, 14 of September.
I woke up at 6 am to go Bishop McNamara High School.
Then we went with our exchange students to their classes that are 1h 30min long.
After the classes finished I stayed at school watching volleyball and a soccer (football) match waiting to my exchange student who had an orchestra practice.
Later I went home and I got ready to go to a corn maze.
At about 8 pm we went into the corn maze in groups of 4-6 with some students of Bishop McNamara and we stayed there until 10.
Finally I went back home and I went to sleep.
I have had a great time in Washington and I’ve learnt a lot of English.

The second
weekend in the United States started with a party on Friday night in my house,
with a lot of people, friends, relatives of my American family, and teachers of
my school. The party finished at midnight, but I went to sleep earlier because
I had to wake up at 5am if I wanted to go to New York. I took the bus at 7am in
Baltimore, and after a long travel I arrived in New York around 11:30. In New
York I visited all the important places, as Time Square, the 9/11 Memorial, or
the Empire State Building. I took the bus to return at 8 pm and I arrived to
Baltimore at 12. Then I went by car to Washington. On Saturday I woke up later
than other days, and I relaxed in the morning and in the afternoon I went to a great
party at one of the McNamara student’s. When the party finished I went back
home and then to sleep. It was a tired weekend, but a great one.
